A must for increasing organization in your family. Free Spirit publishes many outstanding books on the topics of social skills, learning differences, and healthy child development in general. Over the years, we’ve purchased countless books from Free Spirit and they fly off our shelves (we have to be vigilant to get them back to the clinic.) You’ll be amazed to find books such as “How Rude” and “Bullies are a Pain in the Brain” and more – Founded by a teacher committed to supporting twice-gifted children, Free Spirit is well worth a visit. Coach Rick is both a trained physical education teacher, and an accomplished tennis professional. His motor skills camps are fun and he and Assistant Coach Dana Bargas have experience working with kids with learning differences. The camps provide a natural setting in which unique children and “typical children” (if there is such a thing) can mix and match and play and get stronger and more coordinated in a beautiful natural environment. We consistently receive rave reviews from parents we’ve sent to see Rick and Dana. Note of warning: If you sign your child up for a week of camp, they’re going to beg for another week, so be prepared. |
